The St. Thomas Academy Cadet Ring goes beyond graduation—it is a lasting symbol of the discipline, leadership, brotherhood, and commitment that define the Cadet experience. Rooted in STA’s military tradition, the ring recognizes the responsibility each Cadet accepts to lead with integrity, serve others, and uphold the values of those who wore the uniform before him. It is both a recognition of what has been accomplished and a reminder of the standards a St. Thomas Academy graduate carries forward throughout his life.

This tradition shares a meaningful connection with military institutions such as The Citadel, where the class ring has long held a special place in the Corps of Cadets. At The Citadel, earning the ring symbolizes perseverance, shared sacrifice, and membership in a lifelong brotherhood. In that same spirit, the St. Thomas Academy Cadet Ring can serve as a tangible connection between generations—a symbol that when a Cadet leaves the Academy, the lessons, relationships, and commitment to service developed there remain with him. The ring is not simply something a Cadet receives; it is something he earns and carries as a lifelong reminder of what it means to be a St. Thomas Academy Cadet.
